What are Sporting Injuries?
Sporting injuries are physical injuries sustained during exercise, training, or competition. 30–50% of athletes report at least one injury per season (Maffulli et al., 2010).
Common Causes
- Acute trauma (falls, collisions, overexertion).
- Repetitive strain or overtraining.
- Poor biomechanics or technique.
- Inadequate warm-up or recovery.
